My post last week making the same claim was premature...that was made on Sunday last week and Monday morning I woke up feeling like I had been hit by a truck. Nothing specific hurt and no post operative problems ... just the universe snickering at me for being so sure of myself and teaching me that I wasn't in charge right now. So I spent much of last week collapsed in my recliner trying to find something to watch on TV. Thank goodness we have NetFlix.

I have a PET scan early tomorrow morning, a visit to my primary physician and then a last visit to the surgeon to be released from his care.

The day I came home from the hospital, I was walking up the driveway looking at everything I would not be tending to for a couple of months and told Mother Nature that my garden was now in her hands...Randy would do the watering when she didn't (rain is not likely to happen this month) and she would have to keep everything alive. So far they are a winning team. ;) And I find myself already thinking about making out a Spring plant order.

It feels soooooo good to be more active on the Stew. Thanks for all the continued good thoughts and prayers, still not a final prognosis but the doctors are very optimistic and deep down inside I know everything is going to be okay. :setc_083:

I'm sure your gut feeling will prove to be right Toni. Good luck with the PET scan and I hope the physician and surgeon sign you off when you see them.

PET scans take awhile but are worth the trouble when they give you an all clear. I'm glad you are feeling better this week. You are right, no rain. Color of the week is brown.

Gee Toni, I didn't know you had any pets, much less ones that need scanning! Sorry about that awful joke/pun, but I couldn't resist.
You know that everyone, absolutely everyone here on the Stew is pulling for you. However, anyone who is planning a spring plant order is going to be just fine.

Glad you are feeling better. Don't forget they say nature sounds and nature help the body. Doing that seed planning has to help the body too. Take care.
