If you all would keep my Mom in your thoughts and prayers I would be ever so grateful. She fell early this morning and turns out she broke her pelvis. She is in the hospital right now waiting for the Ortho Dr. to visit and set up her stay at a rehab facility.

No surgery for it, but I will find out more when we see the Orthopedic Dr.

Oh dear we've both got problems with relatives breaking bones it seems. :( Our Daughter slipped and fell and broke a rib last night while coming down a flight of icy steps.
I hope your poor mum is going to be OK Toni and that there are no complications from her broken pelvis. I'll send healing thoughts to her from Scotland - could you send some back this way for my daughter please? Maybe our GardenStew family can help to heal them both for us.

Oh, Eileen, so sorry to hear about your daughters fall. Hope her rib heals quickly...healing thoughts sent her way.

Mom is doing pretty good, she will be in the hospital until tomorrow at least then moved to a live-in rehab facility for a few days until she can get around on her own.

My oldest daughters arm still aches. I was mistaken on where the break is, it's up at the elbow not the wrist.
