    Hi

I'm in Thailand for a year or so and am collecting photos of unusual (to me) plants. Recently I came across this one - see photo. The only comment I can add is that it smelled a little like a quince, and is quite heavy. Of course I didn't take a bite :D

I'm hoping someone can identify it and many more I have on file.

    Thanks in advance!

I have no idea, but it does look kinda like a quince. I wonder if KK will know, or even Frank???

Thanks for looking EJ. A fellow blogger came to my rescue :smt026 it's Dillenia indica or Elephant fruit. Even more odd on the inside it seems.
