Hi all, just popped in to say that I will probably not be visiting GS for a few days as I have had a cataract op and must rest the eye. Hope you are all well and looking forward to the festive season. Hope to be back to normal shortly.

Hope you have a speedy recovery. I am only 48 but had cataract surgery on both of my eyes earlier this year. I understand the need to rest the eye. Doctors here in Virginia send you back to work the next day after surgery. It was tough as I do alot of reading and computer work at my job. I have enjoyed being free of glasses (except for reading).
Just a quick pop in. Thank you for all your lovely messages. The eye is settling down a bit, I have to go to the consultant next Monday morning for a check-up. Hopefully it will be much better by Christmas. Have a very Happy Christmas everyone and a happy and healthy 2010.
