My husband and I have been away in our caravan for a couple of weeks and upon our return of course one of my priorities was to sign in to GS. and read whats been going on.....panic set in when I saw how many posts there had been and interesting things that had been happening while we were away!

Well after awhile the panic subsided and I have been reading through all the topics, this certainly is an interesting and busy place[could people please slow down so I can catch up?]

On our little trip away we went to see some lovely areas, where the trees are showing their winter leaves, which we dont experience here on the tropical coast.
There were also some lovely waterfalls and I thought some might be interested in seeing some of the views which we saw.
I dont have a fancy camera but I do the best with my little one.

Along the roadside there is the banana passionfruit taking over a hedge of conifers and producing loads of fruit which we gathered, the days were beautiful and clear but most nights were about 28f.bbbrrrrrr, not what we are used to but beautiful for a short time[very short time!]

Drool.. I would love to vacation with you.

chocolate, I get that feeling of panic every morning and if I go out during the day for a few hours. This place is so very active and your pleas will fall on deaf ears. There is no stopping us.  I like to visit "every new post" and sometimes if a am busy, I just can't keep up with it.

Chocolate your vacation looked like you had a wonderful time. Love the water falls. The passion fruit looks yummy and the flowers are beautiful. To bad something so pretty has to be so invasive. Thank you for sharing your great pic's. Have a super blessed day. :stew1:

Your photo journal had great variety. I loved seeing the fresh fruit/flowers as well as the scenery. Thanks chocolate for taking us along. Your trip was so inspiring I had to goggle Ebor to see more. Thanks again for taking this stay-at-home along for the journey :-D

I've only seen little waterfalls... so I was particularly drawn to your photos of them.... and was going to say they were my favorite... but then I saw the Banana Passion fruit... that would be my favorite. And then... BEACHES! That's my favorite... too! :D
Thanks for posting all of these great photos... nothing wrong with your camera!

Chocolate, That was fantastic. So glad you gave us a tour.
Don't feel so bad about not being able to keep up, even I can't keep up and I haven't gone anywhere except outside. Spring is here and the greenhouse is bursting at the seams and I can't hardly get in here to look at much let alone post anything. At this moment I just needed a break as we have been out in the garden all day and Kevin and Kyle went to pick up a van from the repair shop so I stopped for a breather, but I won't be here long. I have to get out to the greenhouse for more work.

Thanks for posting those lovely photos! I'm sooo ready for summer and hot weather. I need to emigrate or something. :D

I haven't been on for a while due to internet trouble, and there are nearly 10,000 posts I haven't seen. I won't be able to catch up, so I'll miss out on a lot of fun here.

    Wow. Nice trip!
Got some bananapassion seeds once and didn't turn out to be that kind of passion.
Was angry... especially after growing the vine for a few years and ID-ing it by the first and only bloom.
