Jazz is ridiculously regal-looking for a little bit o' nuthin that doesn't even weigh 4 pounds. She barely makes a dent in that cushion! When I told her how ridiculous she was, she gave me THE LOOK......you know the one I mean, that one where you'd think they'd just been told they were going to the pound, or that you loved their sibling more, or something. Oh the drama! Do your dogs do that, give you THE LOOK when you say or do something to offend them? (Shhhhhh.....don't tell her that really I just absolutely adore her and her brother....we wouldn't want that going to their heads now would we?)
Oh boy our old Blue (a Labrador) was a real expert at THE LOOK Ronni!! He could always make me feel so small for suggesting he should go out in the rain.
You haven't received "the look" until you have gotten it from a cat. Feliz can make ME want to crawl under the bed when she gives me the offended cat look. Female cats aren't called "queens" for nothing, you know.
Both the dog and cat give me 'the look'. It usually makes me laugh and then 'the look' gets more intense.
