People don't function well in -14F°. I do hope the jet-stream moves north soon. The excursions southward, while good for snow-shovel and mitten sales are not encouraging and do not comply with the Old Farmers Almanac predictions. Do your chickens and plants fight over who controls the thermostat? Or do they have separate controls? :)

    Oh yuck. That sucks. :(

I can't believe our forecast for the coming week…we're actually going up into the 40's. It's going to feel like summer!!

It wasn't too bad here this morning ... -19°C (-2°F). The forecast calls for warming temperatures - this weekend we might even hit the freezing mark!

It started snowing here about half an hour ago and it's already about 1/2 an inch thick with no signs of it stopping any time soon.

This is the scenery on the road going to Ashland this morning to pick up parts. On the way back an hour later there was still the hoarfrost in the shade. The temperature was abour 4f at the time.

-15 F here this morning, but going to +31 this afternoon. They are saying that it's going to be near 60F next week. How goofy is that? But I'll take it!

Our thermometer says -16 this morning, but it is supposed to be +26 today. Wahoo! My real hope with this winter being this cold is I am hoping that HORRIBLE pest Spotted Wing Drosophila didn't survive this incredibly cold winter.

IT's a cold one here this morning ... -27°C (-16.6°F). I think after today we are heading to a warming trend and I can't WAIT :)
