Since my son had to work on Thur, Fri and Sat, we had our thanksgiving meal for dinner tonight. Cooked up 1/2 of the 12 lb turkey, had mashed taters and turkey gravy and some sclloped corn. Some of you might call it corn pudding. The bird had a great flavor and was good an juicy. One nice thing about cooking it by the 1/2 bird is that it only took about 2 hrs. instead of 3 1/2.

Sounds like a great meal you had...I had a 22 pound Butterball turkey and it only cost me 7 dollars. Another website had you write about your Thanksgiving tradition and after you did it, they mailed you a coupon for 15 dollars off of one. It was so moist and juicy...I didn't think any would be left, everyone kept eating.
