Hey there, everyone, and consider this my headlong dive into the GS forums.

My name is Mark and I'm all over the internets - you can find me at IBinsanity.deviantart.com or twitter.com/IBinsanity - and I am a plant hoarder who is currently working for a huge greenhouse. I'm a bit of an orchid and fern fanatic, and plant ID is my strong suit. I live in southern Ontario, so most of my gardening is indoors, under lights, year-round.

So - tell me, who are you all?

Welcome, Mark. I love your introduction. :D I'm a haphazard gardener from mid-Norway, enjoying the outdoors and our ever-increasing borders. My husband's in a Hosta craze so we've got plenty of those. You can read and see more in the My Garden-feature.

Hop in and make yourself at home. I'm looking forward to learning from you. :stew2:

Hi Mark and welcome from coastal NC. Lucky you to be able to work among plants all day. I too love orchids and have started a small collection in a small greenhouse. Otherwise I'm a retired person able to garden everyday and spend some time on the water as well. I know you will enjoy the "stew"

Hi there Mark - lovely to to have you here with us at GardenStew. I hope you'll give us lots of advice on growing orchids as, I for one, could certainly do with it.
WELCOME to our forums from West Lothian in Scotland. :-D

    Hello Mark
Welcome from a rather cold Cape Town.
I love your introduction - so informative.
I am a retired gardener - sometimes working on contracts and helping my husband from time to time with his company.
Trying my utmost to get my garden the way I want it - alas...
Would love to be more water-wise in my garden though. :stew1:
