This drawing is what our oldest Grandson gave us for Christmas. It was a project for art class, he had the skull in his bedroom (why? he was a 14 yr boy when he found it. Why not!) He added the other details. We have it hanging in the livingroom. Grandson gave us his drawing for Christmas ( photo / image / picture from toni's Garden )
Toni, why am I not surprised your grandson has artistic talent? Could it be in the genes? That is a very special artwork, and I know you'll treasure it for years. (Make sure he signs it--that will add to the value when his work is being hung at the Kimball).
That looks awesome! I bet he was as proud to give it as you were to be on the receiving end. Very nice indeed!
Wow, now that drawing deserves to be hung in a special place where everyone will see it, brag away, that is something to be proud of. Jerry
Well, that really is something to be proud of. Was that done with charcoal or pencil? Interesting markings on those horns--do they have significance?
Very nice. Keep encouraging him to draw and save all that you can. It's wonderful that he lets you have some of his artwork. Barb in Pa.
Sjoerd, I finally remembered to ask him your questions. It's all done in pencil and about the markings he said "I just thought they looked cool" Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments. His mom showed him the post and comments and he just beamed with pride that grownups other than grandparents who have to like what you give them, thought it was good.
