Old man winter made, hopefully, his last appearance last night as a thick blanket of wet heavy snow covered parts of New England. A power outage greeted me as I woke up. Words echoed in the cool crisp air as the storm departed "I'll be back." Old man winter has a very true track record on that account. But in the mean time frolicking in the sun will soon be the order of the day......hopefully....in May maybe.....

Everything may look pretty with its covering of snow Jerry but I hope, for your sanity, that it melts soon and that elusive sun comes out and stays out for you.

I think Mother Nature was "fooling" with you. That does not look like Spring, isn't it a little late even for New England? It does look pretty.

Have any of your spring plants bloomed yet that this would cause damage?

Oooh Jerry! What did you do to make Mother Nature so angry?
    Hope it melts quickly.

My wife and I took the better part of Wednesday cleaning Flower beds. There had been so much snow on the ground from the winter that the plants were well on their way. I used an air rake so as to not damage the tender shoots. So if Old Man winter saw us having fun cleaning the beds.......Snow. I'm pretty sure he is gone for the season so it's flower time in the back yard. Now where did I put that flamethrower..........:)
