This is not the prettiest flower, but this orchid has bloomed for me and is happy living in the bathroom window since 2000. This year it had the longest flowering stem yet, over a meter in length. The fall colors match its blooming time. :D

OO I really love those flowers. Orchids are so expensive here that it's a treat to see yours in full bloom. :-D

No scent on any of my orchid :(, but blooms always make me feel happy. This was one of those "sale" orchids from a big box store years ago. Sometimes a rescue is a success story. :)

That is sooo pretty Jewell! I've tried Orchid's a couple of times but I think they hated me :(

The Oncidium is my husband's favourite orchid. Yours is a deligth, but I'm not showing it to my dearest since he probably will go out and get one and there's no room for more blooms inside.

Now that is impressive. A real treat to see. Personally I like the color too, kind of modern looking. I have never tried an orchid, they are completely intimidating to me.

Holy mackerel, Jewell...that one is a whopper!
I have never seen such. I find that flower quite attractive.
You must be over the moon.

    Well done, you.

That is a success story! That is how I feel about my Thanksgiving cactus. It's not much but boy it makes me happy when it blooms :p My mom would just melt over yours :D She has developed an admiration for orchids. Don't think any of hers have rebloomed for her though
