Olive Seeds

    I am going to try to plant Olive tree from seed, I have extracted the inner seeds by carefully crushing the hard shell using a hammer. I will post the results (success or failure).
    Here are some photos of the seeds. I like their texture:

    Good luck liono. I have a feeling you'll manage to get at least some of those seeds to germinate for you.

    If your olives have been brined, then the seed is dead.

    Thanks Coppice. No they are picked right off the tree that I have in my back garden.
    I put the seeds in water with small amount of Hydrogen Peroxide. I will post the progress after I plant them.

    Update of the seeds.
    I put them in paper tissue inside a plastic container (on 23 Nov. 2016), after about a month and a half (~ 10 Jan 2017) I found that most of the seeds got mold. However, few survived and sprouted. Here are photos (taken 26 Jan 2017):
