This is what our entrance area looks like tonight:

I know it's early but they are our own home grown pumpkins, lovingly carved, and we won't be here for Halloween week-end so we'll light them every evening for as long as the pumpkins hold.

I tried to make a star shape on top:

I'm rather pleased, since these are my second and third carved pumpkins. :D

Very good Droopy, those look great.
I like the lopsided look on a couple of the eyes, that gives them great character.

    That's what I call a total success.
The carving is very good with that star-shaped top being a very nice touch.

Congratulations to your daughter who grew these supurb jack-o-lanterns.

    .......yeah....you did good. ;)

Thanks for liking our lanterns. :D Norway has no tradition for carving pumpkins or putting out lanterns, but what else can one do with home-grown pumpkins? The girls are loving them, of course, but like the pumpkin cookies better. I just hope the frost won't make them all soft too quickly.

Now, Bluewolf, don't say that. Here in Norway we assume all Americans do it. :D We'll trade. I've done it so you won't have to.

I never get around to it either... but my neighbors would be impressed if I ever did put out some jack-o-lanterns that look like yours.

    Works for me!!!

We usually put up my inflatable 12ft Scooby Witch, a life size zombie, a life sized skeleton, cobwebs spiders and tombstones and some other doodads
but we're not going to this year can't afford to by candy so no sense attracting the little goblins :(
