I checked the rare bird elert today and saw that there was a rare bird, Sharp-tailed Sandpiper, Calidris acuminata, down at the lagoon that I go to 3 or 4 times a week. So off I went down there and ended up with 42 pictures of it. As I only post one image of the same bird or flower, so people don't get bored, here it is.

You must have a really good eye Kildale as I wouldn't have been able to pick it out amongst other birds. Is this the first time of one this species has been seen in your area? So glad you managed to get the shots you wanted of it.
