I still have the honeysuckle blooming even though we have had a cold frost a few times. Here are my little sparrows..things are pretty quiet in the area unless the Coopers hawk swoops in. Sparrows in the pergola feeding area... ( photo / image / picture from Sherry8's Garden )
2ofus......yes we have a lot of sparrows... we also have chickadees, blue jays, nuthatches and goldfinches, housefinches, northern flicker, woodpeckers (3 kinds) and mourning doves right now...I haven't seen my cardinals for a long time. I hope the coopers hawk didn't get them...
Sherry, it looks like they are playing an intricate game of tic-tac-toe Thanks for sharing this lovely photo!
Just what I was thinking Frank when I saw the photograph. :-D Sparrows have been absent from my garden for a few years now .... that is until this year. We now have quire a few who visit on a regular basis.
More interesting bird foto's from you, Sherry. You have the most delightful selection of birds in your yard and garden. Nice foto.
Thank you 2of us, Frank, waretrop,KK Ng, Sjoerd, Cayuga Morning, and eileen. Cayuga Morning, it is an actual pergola made to hang bird feeders. My husband built it for me when we first moved in to hang feeders from when we didn't have any trees on the lot. I will check for a picture to let you see the whole thing if I can find one right away. 2009 picture of our Bird pergola ( photo / image / picture from Sherry8's Garden ) 2014 Bird Pergola ( photo / image / picture from Sherry8's Garden )
