Orchard Oriole...compared to the Baltimore Oriole

    I have to start looking for these birds. They live in my area but I am not familiar with them therefore don't recognize them quickly.

    I can see the similarity in their shapes and sizes which points to them both being orioles. However, the colour differences makes it quite easy to distinguish between he two.

    From a distance the orchard oriole looks like a blackbird and I remember thinking to myself, why is that blackbird drinking from the sugar water...until I walked closer and could see the darker orange....
