The set of 3 origami booklets arrived. Judging by the diagrams, there is a chance I will end up with more paper cuts than paper animals Should be fun to try though C.J.
The 3 booklets - Wild Animals, Birds and Insects, Sea Creatures. More like trying to make than making At the moment the couple of attempts look like...well...crumpled pieces of paper. Once the different kinds of folds are understood, it will be much easier to understand. I think ! I've other things to do at present elsewhere, but it is a nice little pastime. Even if unsuccessful so far C.J.
It would be alright if there was an animal that looked like and was called a 'crumpled piece of paper', but I'm not aware of a 'herd' or 'flock' of such. Although there is such a thing as a 'bin' of crumpled pieces of paper'! Does that count? C.J.
Origami had to be the next step I took in the art of paper-folding. Kids are not as impressed as they used to be with the old dependable paper aeroplane. C.J.
My boys have always done origami. Dan does all sorts of it. He made me fish and colored them. I had them in the bathroom for awhile. I want him to show the kids how to do origami bunnies for the summer reading program. They are a simple folded one. By that I mean, not too many folds. Dooley
Groan How is the origami progressing C.J? Dooley, are you sure you want to show the kids how to make origami bunnies? Remember what happened last time...
How is the origami going? I want to learn flowers but I know I will end up with just paper cuts instead of folds. LOL!!!
My daughter got a origami book for Christmas that was folding things out of dollar bills - when she paid me back for something recently, it was handed to me in the form of a Klingon ship and I had to unfold it! I haven't the patience for it myself - go you, if you managed to make any headway on it at all.
