    Caught a pic of this oriole over the weekend when visiting relatives. I also had a hummingbird fly right up to me and stare at me for the longest time. All I can figure is I had on a hot pink shirt, and it must have confused the little guy. Glad he didn't try to go up my nose!

    Great photo. I love the way he looks like he is rubbing his head on the branch. Beautiful birds. We don't have anything like them here.

    Funny thing you said about the hummingbird..My husband and I sat on a ladder by the hummingbird feeder quite a few years ago with a flower in our mouth...the hummingbird came right up to it just like it was in the garden...it was fun...really if someone saw us doing it they might have wondered what we were doing. We had heard about it from Birds & Blooms magazine so we tried it and it was fun...
