I love Christmas especially looking at everyones beautiful trees and ornaments. I don't have anything fancy or priceless but they are special to me....I love bells and have plenty of those around the house...

The boxes underneath are all empty ones ...we ordered new recliners for one another and those are not in yet.

I love your candy canes on the tree--we do that, too! And your tree and mantle and everything is just so festive!
After Christmas, I think you will need those new recliners ;) .

Very pretty and festive. We used to put real candy canes on the tree until we got our Field Spaniel, one night he ate every one that he could reach.

With a new cat in the house this year I decided not to tempt him with lights and dangly things on a tree.

This is how Feliz enjoys our Christmas tree--the tree skirt is a "kitty blanket"! Tell Spooky to be a good boy and just sleep under the tree. Santa will bring him something special for being such a good little kitty.

marlingardener...those are artificial ones that I got through QVC many years ago. I think they call them sugared. They have held up very well through the years. Feliz is a pretty cat. My cat Birdie loves to watch the tree turn because it revolves and once in a while she will hit at the bells that I hang low. She has never even tried to climb it which I am happy about.

toni...my parents always put those candy cherries that were on wires, one on each side of the wire. I was thinking of looking to see if they still make them but then decided I better not with 2 dogs and the cat here.:) Good idea with a new cat in the house not to tempt him...

Sherry8, Will the recliners go into the the boxes underneath the tree when they come in????

I love recliners and hate the ole "3 people couches." I have a love seat for 2 and 5 recliners. That makes more sense to me. when people sit 3 in a row you have to try to bend around for each end people to look at each other to talk. It was always horrible to be.
