I wanted to share with you our pansys that are in bloom still and our anniversary rose we got last May off my Mum and Dad it just opened up today, it has been raining heavily so we bobbed out between showers and caught it on camera it was rather shy and kept trying to turn away in the wind. I hope your not getting tired of pansy photos either but I love this one and the rose will always be special to us. pansy ( photo / image / picture from playtime8978's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from playtime8978's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from playtime8978's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from playtime8978's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from playtime8978's Garden )
Never tire of looking at pretty blooms. Don't you love having things that have special meaning? I mean, they're all special, but some have extra special meaning too. Your anniversay rose is lovely, and congrats to you!
It is called Maigold, thank you for the lovely comments. It is hard to detect a scent as it is so wet and windy but I do seem to remember it had a delicate scent.
Nice pansys and that rose is gorgeous as well. It seems like a good name, doesn't it. Thanks for showing these. I could almost smell that rose.
Good photos I love that pansy, they have so much charachter. An anniversary rose, what a wonderful idea. I might borrow that idea for my parents anniversary coming up Deanna :-D
Who could ever get tired of looking at pansies I wonder? Certainly not me!! :-D It's lovely to see the rose from your parents flowering for you as I'm sure it's a treasured possesssion.
Good idea Deanna I thought it was a lovely gift and the pansys that were in the pot she made came up again this year, Lovely orange and brown ones and the rose will always be special. I am with you Eileen pansys are on of my favourite flowers they just keep on giving. And the rose is a treasured posession and its lovely to be able to see it when I am sat on my computer.
Thank you playtime.I would never get tired of seeing pansies and yellow roses are my favorite rose.I love them all but the yellow stands for friendship.
I love photos! You've got a sweet, little pansy there. I like the ones with faces. My mother grew Maigold earlier, and (I think)I remember that it had a lovely scent.
