We got our trees from the Arbor Foundation today. There are 4 white dogwood, 3 red bud, 3 goldenrain trees, and two crepe myrtle. Now, we already have two dogwood and five crepe myrtle. I told our one neighbor that I would give her two dogwood and maybe I will give her two of the goldenrain trees. We just don't have room for so many trees. That's 16 trees besides our five crepe myrtles and our yard just isn't that big. Toni is going to send me pecan trees, too. Tomorrow will be a tree planting day. We have to cut some scrubby trees out of the front yard before we can plant more trees though. That means digging more roots, too. Oh, well! The trees will look fine when they grow enough to start flowering and scenting the air. I'm sure the birds and the bees will like them, too.

What a lovely selection of trees you have Dooley. I'm sure your neighbour will be delighted with the ones you give her (wish I were your neighbour ;)) and when the Pecans arrive from Toni you'll both have a wide variety between you.
