Our first freeze comes tonight & tomorrow night (mid to upper 20's), but I'm not giving up without a fight! Got my tomatoes covered, they set on so well this fall once we got some rain, I hate to let them go.

    OH NO!

At the moment here in my garden which gets sea breezes the temperature is[2pm]36C/96F,
hard to believe that some who seem to be in the same room sometimes are going to have 6C/20f.

What about the garden? Quick somebody do something!

We're waiting on a cold front to blow through over the weekend. Our lows will drop down to the mid/upper 50s with a high only getting to the 70s. We shouldn't even get close to freezing for another month or so.. and then it will only be for an hour or two. January is usually our coldest month and by early March there's only a slight chance of freezing temps.
My sincere best wishes to all of you (and your plants) that are about to face mean ol' winter.
