Remember all the morning glories on our front porch. They are a part of history now. But, it is a treat to sit on the front porch because......

the allysum that barely grew six inches high all summer blossomed out with the rain and the cooler weather. It smells so sweet. Chance goes to the fence and sniffs and gets such a blissful look on her face.
Along with the allysum we also get marigolds and zinnias.

There isn't too much else blooming in the yard right now.
This bush, I forget it's name. The butterflies like it and the hummingbirds rest in it.

I found some red salvia and of course the pink oxalis.

My geraniums are still blooming and the vinca.
No pictures of those here though.
There is one lone morning glory out in the yard where a seed fell.

That's about all for now. But, I'll be sitting on the front porch smelling the flowers when I get a break from sewing and assorted other things.

Your allysum looks so good along with the marigolds and zinnia. I love the scent of allysum but, sadly, mine is way past flowering now. You still have so much colour Dooley and it's nice to see flowers blooming at this time of year. :-D

You sure do have some nice and colourful flowers there still. I especially like the orange and white colours together.
That is a cute little brown skipper there.
    Your yard is looking good.

You suffered the heat and are now getting to enjoy some color. Makes summer not feel so long gone. The alyssium and marigold are gorgeous!
