Yes, today, roughly six weeks after arrival, the gals are now grown and settled in, and today rewarded our patience with 3 perfect eggs. Fingers crossed this will creep up as the days trundle on. ( photo / image / picture from EJ's Garden ) I cracked them all into my little fryer and Mark and I had them on a slither of french bread. I'll bet those eggs were the best you've ever tasted. Hopefully, there will be plenty more to follow. :-D
They tasted great, altho gone in one mouthful. Another 1 today...hope they all start getting their act together now.
Those are quail eggs right? I had some for the first time in Brasil a few years back. I liked em better than chicken eggs!
They sure are quail eggs. We have 5 quail living in our modified greenhouse, and they seem at home now. The eggs are so creamy and rich. YUM YUM!
