Our gals have done us proud

    Yes, today, roughly six weeks after arrival, the gals are now grown and settled in, and today rewarded our patience with 3 perfect eggs. Fingers crossed this will creep up as the days trundle on.

    I cracked them all into my little fryer and Mark and I had them on a slither of french bread.

    They tasted great, altho gone in one mouthful. Another 1 today...hope they all start getting their act together now.

    Those are quail eggs right? I had some for the first time in Brasil a few years back. I liked em better than chicken eggs!

    They sure are quail eggs. We have 5 quail living in our modified greenhouse, and they seem at home now. The eggs are so creamy and rich. YUM YUM!
