We had to, didn't we? We were going to buy flowers for the graveyard, and came home with a nice assortment, plus these three beauties:

Hosta "Sea Thunder" ( photo / image / picture from Droopy's Garden )

Hosta "El Niño" ( photo / image / picture from Droopy's Garden )

So now I need to get digging. I've got a nice space for two of them, but I have no idea where to put the third. :D

Very pretty, so how many Hostas does that make for you or have you lost count? ;)
Don't forget to post pictures when you get them in the ground.

Haha, Sjoerd, you're just hilarious! :D I will find room or else I will be divorced.

Green_Numb, do post photos of your Hostas. Some are very similar and hard to identify while others are so unique it's easy.

Toni, I have no idea. :D I think we passed 50 last year, and I really need to count them up and make a list to make certain that husband of mine doesn't go off and buy some we've got already. He's very likely to do that.

We've got at least one more on the way, "Blue Mouse Ears". It's a mini, and I've got a space ready for it. :D

OO I love your new hostas Droopy. I only have a few, and don't know their names, but I do like having them in the garden. :stew2:

I'm a hosta fan too. I'm working on a hosta garden -- only two kinds so far though. I like the El Nino, looks like it has bluish-green leaves, my favorite. I would love to see your mini when it arrives.

Thanks for liking our new "babies". They're all labeled "40 cm" in height, but I'm not quite certain about that, so I'll have to check to make sure.

El Niño is bluish, daisybeans, and I'm certain it will look good alongside "Gayfeather", which will be more yellow as the season passes.

I like hostas because they are pretty all season with little care. I'm a lazy gardener. :D

Lovely hostas Droopy, especially the Sea Thunder. I am a real fan. We have three, one of which I think is called Francis Williams. They used to get attacked by slugs but since I have mulched with wood bark they seem to be ok, fingers crossed :)

GG, we've got that one too. I like it because it's so big and have nice variegations.

Please do, Netty, I'm always on the look-out for new "must-haves". :D Or rather, my husband is.

I'm loving your hostas. until a few years back I never knew there were differant kinds of hostas. I have many, many -plenty of hostas here But I also don't know what 'kind' they are. I'm thinking though they're all the same whatever they are. Some of mine look like your 2nd pict. I like your sea thunder hosta.

Thank you petunia. With both Sea Thunder and El Niño I should be having some interesting weather in my borders this summer. :D
