While I was at the farm market with the camera I took some pictures of our stand. It wasn't a busy day but I did well anyway. Garden aprons blowing in the wind ( photo / image / picture from dooley's Garden ) These are garden aprons blowing in the wind. Aprons hang on three sides of the stand. Garden aprons, kitchen aprons, farm aprons and kids aprons. See how the wind was blowing ( photo / image / picture from dooley's Garden ) These are the kids aprons blowing and tote bags on the table. farm apron ( photo / image / picture from dooley's Garden ) And lastly, the farm aprons which started the whole business of aprons. These were designed for picking purple hull peas but can be used for picking most anything. They hold a five gallon bucket of peas and have velcro at the bottom for emptying them. There is velcro at the top, too. dooley
Nice, Dooley. I also like the pumpkin bag you have peeking out in 2 of those photos. Glad you had a good day, also.
The pumpkin bag was one of a kind and it went rather quickly. It had a matching small tote purse and the same lady bought it. dooley
Dooley, those are gorgeous aprons! You have such taste and creativity--no wonder you have a good day at a slow market.
You are probably the most colorful booth at the market place. The aprons are definite eye catchers and of course sell themselves. Jerry
You have such a wonderful stall with so many beautiful colours that I'm not surprised you did well. I know it would be the first stall I'd stop at if I visited the farmers market. What are your best sellers? I would imagine it would be the farm aprons and the garden ones. The tote bags are far better than anything you can buy over here.
Congrats Dooley, your stand is really cosy and inviting. With the light breeze, it makes it peaceful too! Eventhough I had not been to your farmers market, I can imagine that it is really fun. Our farmers market here can be described with one word ... YUCKS!!!
Hi Dooley, as always you display a colourful stall,..did you ever think of making those shoe holders that hang on the back of a door,..its something i am searching for,..to hold at least eight pairs of shoes,..so far no luck .
What wonderful aprons for harvesting. Would be great for apples, but I bet not so good for blackberries or blueberries.
Quite ingenious. I am going to make aprons for Christmas gifts but maybe I should start making them for sale as well. Do you just pick up remnants of fabric or do you buy by the yard?
