It is really lovely to be spending time here except when it gets too cold. We stayed in Oxted, a small town in Surrey just outside London. It is a beautiful town with lots of old buildings and a train station. Oxted main road I think! A foreigner I think. We made a trip into London to visit relatives and some quick look around. Somewhere in Waterloo. River Thames with grand nieces and nephews. Had lunch in this French restaurant. A living statue, drop some money in the money box and he'll move. Clapham Junction. Cutie! From Oxted we moved up north to Winterton and stop by Cambridge for a quick visit. It is basically a university town. Cambridge. In a church taking shelter from the cold. Beautiful stain glass art. A beautiful willow tree in the ground of the campus. Duck Bat Man is from Cambridge?
That willow tree is really beautiful. The students must love to sit under it on a summers day. I hope our British weather stays warm and dry for you.
