I guess I should have said yellow and green front yard. I wanted color and nature and the birds gave me color. I see one spot of red in the long flower bed. Otherwise the color is cardinals and blue jays which I also like and could sit and look out the front door for half the day.

I hope you enjoy our yellow front yard, too.

I love your front yard, so cheery and pretty. I keep forgetting to plant the sunflower seeds every year, but the birds take care of that when (if) I feed them a seed mix that includes sunflower seeds.

I love your yellow front yard. Did you plant keeping the 'yellow' theme in mind?

I like it also. It looks so cheery! I need to plant more sunflowers.

I didn't plant any of it. I feed the birds sunflower seeds and they scatter them. They swing on the feeder and that scatters some more of them. The black eyed susans are wildflowers and Mother Nature planted them. I have a patch of squash with the big green leaves and yellow orange flowers. I was going to plant marigolds but didn't get to it. I have some snapdragons and geraniums in the backyard that add more color. I wanted zinnias, too. Only ones I have are in the back that came up from last years plants. But, I'm happy with what's out there now.

Dooley, I'll bet the birds think it is their front yard, and they have people watching them! :D
    It's very colorful and pretty!
