I couldn't resist a picture of this Flowering Crabapple. It's an absolute show stopper this year. The photo really does no justice.

I am very impressed with this Euphorbia this year. It's been blooming for weeks now and just keeps getting bigger and brighter

Netty, I don't know which one I like best. The crabapple is wonderful, as is all the rest.

We rented an old house when we first moved here and had a pair of pileated woodpeckers that hung around. They were so pretty.

Oh Netty what lovely photographs. I have a euphorbia just like yours and they certainly brighten up the garden don't they? That crabapple is astounding!! I wish my lilacs would hurry up and flower as the whole garden smells gorgeous when they do. Well done on getting a shot of your woodpecker. :stew1:

I'd love to be there and smell the lilacs, listen to the wood pecker and admire your flowers. :D I've got the same Euphorbia. :D It's got such a cheery colour.

I can smell the lilacs now, makes me want to hurry mine to open. I've always been a fan of those crab apple trees, it really is gorgeous. The Euphorbia is great, I'll have to see if that grows here...I'd love to add that to my garden as well as the Primula.

The woodpecker is great. I know they are in this area, but I've only seen one once. My DH has seen two, but we've been here for 10 years so they don't come around much. Thanks for sharing yours.
