It's about 74 deg F. here and I mowed the grass for the first time this year. Looks pretty good. It was really uneven looking with some clumps taller than others. Now it is all the same height.

Mowing the first few times is so nice--warm, smell of freshly cut grass, green. For me it starts to pall along about June!
You have certainly been on a weather roller coaster! I'm glad you are finally getting more warm and sunny and less wet and cold.

Well this morning it was 34 F. and they say rain for Fri. night, Sat. Mon. and Tues. So the roller coaster is starting again.

Here temps here have leveled off at mid 60's during the day and 40's at night.

In Ohio it's a push and shove match with cool Canadian air and Gulf heat. With a stationary front sitting over Ohio the pattern will not change soon so you can look for see-saw temps and on and off rain to continue. :-( The pattern may change about the middle of next week. Sorry Captain. Keep looking for the red sunsets.

The smell of cut grass always makes me happy. Hope the weather roller coaster isn't too wild of a ride Capt.

Isn't there a saying about cutting grass while the sun shines? Oh wait, that's making hay!
