If you liked that Toni, then you'll also like this page: http://www.skardu.pk/ (in case you'd ever like to visit that area of Pakistan)... Personally, I too now want to go there for fun. As for me it will be just driving to the airline's office and book a seat! No visa formalities to worry about, no issue of vaccinations either - Heck I can even drive there if I wanted to! Just imagine what an adventure it would be, to drive from the coast, right up to those high mountains. However, I have to manage my property, as well as run my business over here in Karachi. So I just don't have enough free time... But one day I will, and so on that day I will also take everyone over here along too, (by live web cam)! There are some one of a kind plants over there too, so collecting their seeds and sharing them with everyone over here will become something amazing as well!
And here is the another photo article from the same person - This time going to the Deosai Plains of Northern Pakistan! http://www.dawn.com/news/1178524/deosai-plains-welcome-to-surreal-pakistan

And this here is an image of Pakistan from the International Space Station! The camera is looking north across Pakistan’s Indus River valley, the port city of Karachi is the bright cluster of lights facing the Arabian Sea (lower left corner). City lights and the dark color of dense agriculture closely track with the great curves of the Indus river. The distance from Karachi to the foothills of the Himalaya Mountains is 1,160 kilometers (720 miles). This photograph shows one of the few places on Earth where an international boundary can be seen very clearly from space. The border between Pakistan and India is lit by security lights (due to mutual distrust and 1000s of years of very deeply rooted contempt for each other) - Which is why the border has a distinct orange glow (a result of high pressure sodium bulbs). This border by the way is 2,912 kilometers long (1,809 miles)! http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/IOTD/view.php?id=86725&src=fb
