Ah, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas with out a Panto. Last year the children and I went to see Peter Pan with Jessica's Brownie troupe - this year they are going to see Cinderella with the school. Two schools have gotten together and booked the whole theatre for the matinee performance which will be lovely for them. Just sad I will miss out. I remember my first pantomime - Mother Goose, mum took me to Wimbledon Theatre on the 93 bus, John Inman was Mother Goose, dad stayed home and looked after my sis as she was still very little.

Do you have shows like this in the States???

The most common definition of Pantomime here is a performance by a mime. We don't have anything like you have down here tho.

John Inman as Mother Goose, man I bet that was a hoot and very risque'. I would have loved to see that one. ;)

3I have seen the occasional Panto on one of the BBC channels that we get here in Holland. It's alot of fun to watch. ....
John Inman as Mother Goose, that must have been a riot. He was really funny in the "Are You Being Served" series.
