Colombes is one of the suburbs of Paris and this was where we stayed. It wasn't big neither was it small, there are many shops, a train station, a couple of supermarkets, cinemas and theaters, pedestrian mall and so on. One of the thing that caught my attention are very narrow houses. There are quite a few of these slim houses around here, as a matter of fact there were this type of houses in other parts of France too. This is the market where our host bought for us our very first homemade croissants ... yum!!! This supermart is just next door to where we stay. Pillar with a difference. Anyone know what kind of house is it? A theater, not a cinema. A cinema An unused church but the clock is working. A modern church. A museum ... I think there is a bit too much museum in Europe! A war memorial. The train station. Pedestrian mall with lots of shops. Another view. Colombes is indeed a very well self contained suburb.
