    How lovely, I have never seen a Pasque flower before...looks a bit like an anemone.

    Just lovely Kildale. We have white ones as well as the purple over here.
    Chocolate you're right in thinking the Pasque flower looks like an anemone as it's Latin name is Anenome Pulsatilla.

    The flowers are about 3 inches across and 12 inches high.

    Sorry to disagree with Eileen, but its Latin name is Pulsatilla vulgaris. However it used to be though of as an Anemone and it is in the fame family as them.
    I will post some pictures of mine later on for folks enjoyment.
