Of course their is a story behind these pics. About 15 years ago, my wife had bought some white peaches to make jam out of. When she was done peeling them and taking out the pits, she tossed them over into the weeds and trees to naturaly rot. Well low and behold, one of the pits sprouted. And 15 years later we have this. The bloom is pretty, but once the leaves come on the trees, the peaches don't do to well. Not enough sun. They only get the size of golf balls and don't ripen at all. The tree is to big to transplant as it is about 12 ft. tall. It did a lot of growing to get to the sun!

What a beautiful tree. Sorry they don't produce good peaches. I have apple trees that were here when I bought the house and they had never been taken care of so the apples aren't good for eating either. But they sure are pretty in the spring. Thanks for sharing CK.

Thats too bad Capt. that the peaches aren't good. But on the plus side you have one beautiful spring tree full of flowers! And any tree is a good tree, even if it gives horriable peaches!

The tree is beautiful with all those lovely flowers on it, I'd be happy to have it in my garden, even if the fruit is horrible.
