Peanuts

    I've always wanted to try growing peanuts too. I see them at the Fall Fair so I know they can grow here.

    Here in West Tennessee peanuts grow just great. Hubby and I have grown them numerous times. They have tons more flavor than store bought. The smaller varieties have more flavor than the jumbo ones. :)

    I wonder if I could grow them here if I wanted to, found some to plant and had a good summer. Or will I need a greenhouse?

    Droopy peanuts can't be planted until the soil is warm and then they need four months of hot weather. Do you have that there?

    I only know they love sandy loam .My uncle raised them for hay.It makes sweet hay like alfalfa
