Pecans

    I live in the Southeast and we have had the most pecans this year anyone can remember. Is this a nationwide phenomenon? One guy brought 1700lbs. to be shelled.

    Not here in north Texas. The weather was so dry that we got none from our trees, the nuts started falling off in August and the squirrels couldn't even find any of them to eat.

    Here in West Tennessee it is a phenominal pecan year. Everywhere you go people are out picking them up. I've never seen so many in the 20 years I've lived here. Good flavor also. 8)
