After last summer stunting and killing off so many of my blooming plants I decided to turn to Petunias and Pansies for color this fall. I have two Asters but they bloomed in early Oct and have just been sitting there since then. The Zinnias that came up all over the yard from last years seeds are in their third generation but each generation is looking sadder than it's parents. The yellow mini rose has two buds, I am looking forward to seeing them bloom.

Oh and of all things, after all the heat of summer you would think that the Lavender would have bloomed before now but they are both loading up with buds now.

Halloween yard decoration that will remain there year round. Right now it is planted with the Coreopsis 'Pumpkin Pie'

Now in a garden of pink, purple, red and orange Zinnias, specifically in a pot with only Zinnias in shade of purple....where did the white one come from?

Toni, You have the neatest containers and stands! And the flowers aren't bad either. :-D

Fantastic Toni! I was just wandering around my yard because it is such a beautiful day, and couldn't find a single bloom. I decided that it is boring outside when there is no gardening to be done...

Oh I do soooo love pansies. They always make me smile when I seem and yours are lovely. I have two little blue ones that have sprouted in a pot on the patio. I didn't plant them so I'm guessing the birds did. They certainly cheer up an otherwise very dull November garden.

They are so very cheerful. It is getting very dreary here, and those beauties make me hopeful because Spring is closer than it was yesterday. :D

Coreopsis "Pumpkin Pie". :D I love your sense of humour. Your blooms are a delight. If our winter stays mild we might get new pansy blooms. I'm amazed at their hardiness.
