Thank you toni. More will come, also from the median. I was hopping about with my camera in the middle of the road, and got a few amazed looks and a couple of horn honks. They drive like maniacs down there.

I enjoy seeing the street scenes with wooden Turkish balconies, the old gates, the acropolis and staduim.
It's been awhile ago, but I have walked in these places.
Thanks so much for sharing these pics. They bring back good memories for me.

The sky is so blue and the buildings so white. It looks refreshing. Thanks for the pics. Wannabe

Thank you all. I must confess that I'm not terribly fond of the new part of Rodos town, but I could walk in the old town for days. There are so many ancient sites to visit too. The acropolis and stadium is just one of them.

For obvious reasons it reminds me so much of Malta where I spent one and a half years, and it looks as warm as well  Thanks for the photos Droopy.

Malta also has an old crusader castle, doesn't it? I've seen photos from there. Hot is nice when you're on holiday.

I'm not much of a history buff I'm afraid but I wouldn't be surprised if it did. I spent most of my time there trying to keep cool :)

Oh just look at those beautiful blue skies and the sunshine!! I've almost forgotten what that yellow ball in the sky is all about. What a lovely place for a holiday.

I never brought the camera to the beach, which is a shame. The water is crystal clear, and very inviting.
