This is my first posting of photos, so hope all goes well. Here are my morning glories going over my greenhouse. In hot California, I use the greenhouse to keep some plants cooler in the summer so the flowers help to shade it. This is one of my tomatoes still green. I have since picked a few of them. This is a heirloom variety called Black of Tulla. Just checked- hurray! it worked!
Your Morning Glory looks very nice. I like all the different color blooms. Your Tomatoes look great too
It certainly did and you've posted two great photographs for us. I love the morning glories with their jewel-like colours. You must show us another photograph of your tomatoes when they ripen.
Great pictures. I would like to see more of the greenhouse, I don't think I have ever seen one like that. The morning glories growing on it looks great.
That is a neat green house, I haven't seen one like it before. Your pictures came across great.Morning glories were my mothers favorite, and I have always loved them as well. Thanks for sharing them.
Thanks so much for the comments. Morning glories were my grandma's favorites. this is the second year I have grown them on the greenhouse. I will take some more photos of the greenhouse. I just love it. It is 7x8' but really doesn't seem that small inside. I also like being in a climate that I can get 365 days use of it. Winter of course, and my tricks to outwit summer heat also. I probably should start a new thread with the greenhouse details, after I get some pix taken.
That is a great looking greenhouse - I sure can learn from you in this respect. We also live in mediterranean climate conditions and often have to endure water restrictions. I would like to see the inside too. :-D
Impressive greenhouse and what a nicve touch with the morning glories! Those toms are really looking quite good. They seem to be at about the same stage as mine. I agree with Palm Tree... seeing the inside would be nice. How long is the greenhouse, BTW?
fawnridge: I too am very interested in your greenhouse. Not sure if I've heard of using one to keep plants cool. How do you keep it cool inside? will be waiting on those picts. thanks for sharing.
OK, I posted a new thread, "My year round greenhouse" so you can see the inside and more pix outside as well.
