    Thank you folks for voting and thanks to the folks who wrote comments on this thread.
    I was lucky to have this clump of crocuses as something got into the plot and ate more than 200 crocus bulbs. DRAT IT!----shades of Jerry Sullivan, right mate?
    Anyway I wanted to thank you all so much.

    This is the picture I voted for as well. I thought this picture was great! The colors especially the purple is great!

    I am quite fond of those particular crocuses. Somehow they seem to stand out more than some of the other ones. They stand out quite well against the Limnanthes I thought.

    Great photo Sjoerd....sorry to hear about something getting into your crocus. I have quite a few holes in my flower beds so I will be waiting to find out what they have destroyed...most likely my tulip bulbs again...

    Those crocuses really brightened up the drabness of the garden that day.
