    That's a nice "cheer me up" on this cold winter day. I'll enjoy looking at such a pretty flower when I come on Gardenstew.

    Thanks all. I was totally surprised!!! My Gerbera are blooming like crazy now with more colors....I really like the red ones.

    Great photo Toni...is there a trick to get them to keep blooming? I didn't have very good luck with the ones I planted...

    Colder than about zone 7 they are usually grown as annuals but down here in 8a they have been in almost constant bloom. They did stop blooming for the hottest part of the summer but as soon as the temps started cooling down the blooms showed up again.
    There are 4 in part sun and I have a large pot with 6 more that are in full sun and they all bloom pretty much the same.
