heather ( photo / image / picture from lukeypukey's Garden ) been wanting a hydrangea for my border next year and stumbled across this little gem for £4 on my way home from work today, and the heathers were £1 each! very happy hydrangea tricolour ( photo / image / picture from lukeypukey's Garden )
Ohhhh, very nice looking plants and a great price. Don't forget to take photos of the Hydrangea when it blooms. I don't know if Heather would grow in our climate but I have wanted to try it since seeing the movie Brigadoon when I was a young girl.
The garden gods were smiling on you Lukey! Those are wonderful plants, and will thrive for you, I'm certain.
Great finds. Glad for you. I would not have guessed the hydrangea, though. I am not sure I have ever seen a tricolored one.
thanks everyone. i think the hydrangea is just a variegated lacecap?? i think thats what they call it
Great price for those heathers Lukey. I bought 24 (in 6" pots) a couple of months ago and thought I'd managed to get a bargain. They cost me £30 for the lot. Somehow I think you've surpassed me with the price you paid - well done.
Hi Luke, you did very well with those three,..i like the variegated Hydrangea,..its an additional display when its in bloom.
