These are yummy. I just made my second batch. Pickled Sweet & Spicy Green Cherry Tomatoes 2lbs onions, thinly sliced 4-5 lbs. green tomatoes, left whole just poke a couple holes into them. If large tomatoes slice into 1/8. 1 bulb garlic 6-8 chili peppers 4 cups sugar 3 Tablespoons coarse salt 4 cups vinegar 1 Tablespoon turmeric 1 Tablespoon celery seed 1 Tablespoon mustard seed 1 Tablespoon peppercorns Combine onions and tomatoes. Pack into 3(1-quart jars) or 6(1 pint jars) Add garlic and chili peppers. In saucepan, combine sugar, vinegar, turmeric, celery seed, mustard seed and peppercorns. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stir until sugar dissolves. Pour mixture into jars, leaving 1/2 inch space. Wipe rims, screw on lids. Let jars sit in gently simmering water 10 minutes.
