What a lovely corner garden and a great looking field of corn in the background. Do you have Hollyhocks planted near that outhouse?
I have when found out in olden days. people would pull into lane and look for them to find OH (QUICK) in that picture have kiss me over garden gate flowers in back.
Also when visiting ladies needed to visit the outhouse, they would ask to 'see the Hollyhocks'...less embarrassing for all concerned that way.
Very nice view! the phlox is beautiful. the star gazer certainly adds a very nice fragrance to the yard, too.
I was taking a break from putting on shingles. Yesterday was up there again taking off siding.. And scraping paint.
Well, why didn't you mention you were having fun on the roof? Probably scraping paint was the most entertaining . . . . At least you had a beautiful view while working.
What a lovely spot! And hope you got all your work done so you can come down and sit and enjoy the beauty.
When i brought metal bed pan home from auction. Jerry asked"WHY" Did you buy that !!!. I put silk sweet peas in it. But phlox kinda took over. I have divided and gave some away. But can't see pitcher pump in this picture. Ran crystal through wire and it looks like water dripping. Have to make another OH. wet snow last year -then high winds we had in May. We had to take it down. Little boy (waiting) He held line waiting line starts here.
Beautiful picture,..the contrast of the Phlox against the Corn is spectacular,..love the little outhouse,..but be careful on that roof.
