Here are a few pictures for Glenda. The first is a pink flowering bush in front of Kevin's. I think I was too far from it when I took the picture. The next three are from Glenda's yard I know Glenda wanted to especially see this one. Don't worry Glenda, it wasn't in your yard, it was in Kevin's yard. I think it only came in your yard to aggravate you because I haven't seen it but once in your yard. dooley
That pink flowering bush is an Indian Hawthorne Rhaphiolepis indica I have two white versions that are having a hard time coming back from being transplanted last year.
I couldn't resist peeping at the piccies either. Great looking flowers and I think the peacock is really handsome.
I thought that was a pink hawthorne. Very pretty as all of the other pics. Your peacock is looking for you Glenda!!
I peeked too! Pretty shots Dooley. Everything sure is green there...we have no snow left but everything is still brown and blah.
dr was just commenting this afternoon how green every thing is since we had that rain. I'm glad you could tell what kind of bush that was from the picture. I was too far away when I took it but I was in a hurry. We needed to run an errand and dr was waiting for me. I had Oreo out and was busy taking some pictures and looked around and he was gone. PANIC! But, he was standing by the door waiting for me to let him back inside. WHEW!!!! I'd hate to have to tell Glenda that I lost her best friend. dooley
Thank you Laura for the pictures.I enjoyed them except for those dang peacocks. If I really liked them something would have already eat them .I planted thse dark purple tulips two years ago they bloomed the first year and this is the first time since.Oreo is a sneeky little fellow. Yes, that is a Hawthorne bush.
Oh my Glenda I remember those peacocks... Your yard looks so colourful, lovely. Oreo is some character. hehehehe.
Lovely pics, Dooley. I just know that Glenda is going to really enjoy seeing live fotos of her yard...and her feathered 'friend'. That was very thoughtful of you to start this thread for her. Isn't that tulip gorgeous!
Very beautiful flowers. I think my fav would be the second picture. I also remember how you have trouble with peacocks. Hope they'll be gone before you return back home.
You would you stinker Deanna. You know how I feel about those ladies, Yes,Petunia they give me fits.I had replanted about half of my bulbs as they dig them up.
