This is the birthmonth garden, nothing blooming there yet, but the Asters in front of the beaded ball and the Daiseys to the right have begun setting buds. The Honeysuckle at the headboard/trellis is still just sitting there, it was bareroot so it is probably concentrating on making nice roots. The new Delphinium are between the stepping stones and the honeysuckle and the Chocolate Cosmos are between the Delphs and the Asters.
I also put in a Maximillian Sunflower because my Mom loves Sunflowers. I'll get it mulched next week.

Lisa brought this wandering fellow to me when they came over for my birthday last month and I think he has finally settled on his new place....in the shaded garden. He likes it there so he can say 'Namaste' to all who enter the yard.

This one might be a bit of a puzzling picture. It is a beautiful glass Hummingbird feeder Lisa gave me about 3 years ago. I have never hung it up since we had not seen a hummer in the yard in the 21 years we have lived here.
But yesterday evening Randy and I were sitting out back and I saw a HUMMINGBIRD in my garden. Now hopefully I will get a picture of him/her feeding.

Wow, congratulations on your hummingbird, I'm so glad you didn't give the feeder away and I hope they find it. Your garden looks lovely, and I like your new friend. He's got a very peaceful look in his face.

Oh to have hummingbirds, you are quite fortunate Toni. Your garden looks on the verge of bursting into colour.

I really love the peacefullness of your garden,, awesome. A glass hummingbird feeder? Now that is unique, and what little hummer could resist that! What i really do love is the stepping stones. I've made a few but i'm afraid to put them out because of the difference in temps here constantly..lol.

Namaste to the little guy, may all his days be as peaceful as his garden surroundings.
