Today, I made 24 six oz. jars of pink grape jelly. I don't know what kind of grapes they are. They were here already. I have made 10 jars of white or green grape jelly, 6 jars of nectaring jam and 6 jars of peach jam. That's 46 jars of jelly or jam. All were made with low sugar pectin so I can eat some of it. But, I have already given away 14 jars of it. I will probably give away ten to twelve more before the week is out. It's the same with baking. I give away more than I eat. Today, a neighbor gave me a bucket of apples. He'll get an apple pie out of it. Same as the other neighbor who gave me apples last week. I got the nectarines and the peaches from neighbors too. All it cost me is a jar of jam. I have jelly and jam and apples to last me most of the winter. I haven't decided what to do with the apples from today with the exception of the pie. I haven't tried to make apple jelly. Maybe that is an option. Dooley
