    I love your flower beds! That is what I am trying to do , a little every year. all the hard work certainly paid off today. Your beds look amazing! :stew1:

    Thanks Gardenmama. I grew up with a gardening mom myself. She loved the work & the challenges & the rewards. She was actually asked to be a "grower" for Jackson & Perkins roses back in the 1970's. I caught the gardening bug from her. I love to be surrounded by beauty and lush greenery. Odd, because I grew up in the desert (El Paso, Texas) and now live on the semi-arid short-grass prairie of the Llano Estacado in West Texas.

    It looks neater than neat to me!! Not to mention beautiful. You do a fantastic job,Wxtdaddy. I just put in the Black and Blue Salvia this spring. Don't you love it? The hummingbirds do too.

    Gosh I aspire to have such a wonderful garden as yours some day!! Mine is wild and woolly compared to yours but I love it just the same. :stew2:

    Love the pink Hibiscus! And your back yard is so tranquil looking. You definitely got your mom's 'green thumb'.

    Thanks, folks. Glad you enjoyed the pix. As for a green thumb, I admit that I kill almost every house plant I get. Don't know why, but houseplants are doomed when cared for by me.
